A clear 30-day standard for eligible purchases.
This is the standard ESS refund policy. BarnPage, Briefena, and future products may publish policies suited to their plans or services. Where a product-specific refund policy conflicts with this standard policy, the product-specific policy controls for that product.
1. Standard 30-day window
Unless a product-specific policy says otherwise, you may request a refund within 30 days of an eligible initial purchase or subscription renewal. The request must be sent within 30 calendar days of the transaction date.
2. Eligible requests
The standard policy covers good-faith requests concerning an initial paid subscription, an unintended renewal, duplicate billing, or a service that was not provided as described. We may ask for information reasonably needed to locate the transaction and understand the request.
3. Subscriptions and cancellation
You may cancel a subscription through the product's billing portal or the cancellation route supplied with your purchase. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund an earlier charge. If the charge is within the applicable refund window, submit a separate refund request.
4. How to request a refund
Emailcontact@eireannsoftwareservices.comor use the support route published by the product. Include the product name, account email, transaction or invoice number if available, transaction date, and a short explanation. Do not send full payment-card details.
5. Paddle-processed purchases
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for orders processed through Paddle. Refunds for those orders are handled through Paddle and returned to the original payment method. You may contact ESS first or submit the request through Paddle buyer support. After a refund is approved, the time for funds to appear depends on the payment method and financial institution.
6. Limits and misuse
Refunds may be refused for requests outside the applicable window, repeated or abusive refund activity, fraud, material violation of product terms, or amounts already refunded. These limits do not override rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Service access after refund
A full refund may end paid access associated with the refunded transaction. Product data and account status are then handled under the applicable product terms and privacy notice.
8. Consumer rights
This policy is in addition to any mandatory cancellation, cooling-off, refund, or warranty rights available under applicable consumer law. Where mandatory law provides stronger rights, those rights apply.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy for future purchases. The policy in effect when you complete a purchase will apply unless law requires otherwise. Questions and requests can be sent tocontact@eireannsoftwareservices.com.
